MATCHDAY TIMETABLE

23 December 2014

So what happens on a Scunthorpe United matchday at Glanford Park?

We've got plenty going on each matchday, meaning that it's not just about the ninety minutes of high tempo, exciting football!

For a Saturday 3pm kick-off, here's what a typical matchday involves!

9am - Ticket Office opens
Want to beat the queues and buy your tickets in advance? The Iron's ticket office is open from 9am on a matchday, so pop up and see us or call 01724 747670! Tickets can also be bought online 24/7 from https://ticketing.scunthorpe-united.co.uk/.

10am - The Club Shop opens
United's club shop is officially open from 10am on a home matchday, selling home, away and third shirts, plus much much more. Supporters can also shop online 24/7 or have a browse of our items via http://www.sufcshop.com. Matchday programmes are also usually on sale from our shop from 10am.

1pm to 1.30pm - The players arrive
The Scunthorpe United players have to arrive at the stadium by 1.30pm for their pre-match meeting with the manager, so if you're around main reception at this time, you'll stand a great chance of getting your autographs!

1.30pm - The OSG Bar opens
The OSG Bar is our special matchday room for kids of all ages to come and enjoy some free activities including playing on the Wii, watch live football, meet Scunny Bunny, meet the players and more.

1.30pm - Activities get underway and turnstiles open
If you want to get your first glimpse of the pitch and sit in your seat, then turnstiles open at 1.30pm. At this time, you'll be able to purchase matchday programmes, visit our catering kiosks and start to soak up the matchday atmosphere at Glanford Park.

2.00pm - Tweet from your Seat!
New for this season, we're asking fans to tweet us at @SUFCOfficial with a picture of them in their seat. We'll share and retweet what we can, and also will put photos in the next matchday programme.

2.10pm - Players warm up
The players will prepare themselves for action from around 2.10pm. If you want to watch them get ready and give them a cheer, be in your seat by this time. If you're in the Main Stand and head for near the tunnel too, there is also the chance to get autographs and speak to the players.

2.30pm - On-pitch matchday entertainment begins
Our PA announcer Jim will emerge to talk everybody through the day's teams.

2.45pm - Teams go in
The teams will go in for their team talk at this time, so it's a great time for you to get settled into your seat.

2.50pm - Kids Penalty Shoot-Out
Four junior Iron fans will take on four supporters of the opposition club in a pre-match penalty shoot-out in front of the Britcon Stand. Want to take part? Email theiron@scunthorpe-united.co.uk and we'll get in touch.

3.00pm - Kick-off!
And then the fun and games gets started! Can the Iron get the goals they need? It's time to find out - but be loud and proud in supporting them!

3.45pm - Half-time
We host our 50/50 half-time draw before our half-time Iron Triathlon game gets underway. Want to take part in future? Email theiron@scunthorpe-united.co.uk and we'll get in touch.

4.00pm - Second half gets underway!
Get behind the Iron for another 45 minutes of football as we look to earn a valuable win!

We hope you have a brilliant time at Scunthorpe United!
