Iron quarter Alex Gilliead, Jordan Clarke, Junior Brown and Mark Howard were all in the offices on Thursday afternoon making calls to 12th Man members at random.
The four players all took time out after training to spread some early festive cheer and to check in on some of our supporters who committed to buying a season ticket for 2020-21, but have so far been restricted from attending games.
Each of the players selected numbers at random to call, with supporters on the other end of the phone surprised to be picking up the phone and having a conversation with them.
Sandra Heseltine, on Facebook, commented: "My husband (had) a call from Jordan Clarke what a lovely surprise and what a lovely young man. Happy Christmas to you all xx"
Russell Bean, on Facebook, said: "Had a call from Alex. Had a lovely chat with a pleasant, easy to talk to. Sincere young man. It was a total surprise and much appreciated. Thanks SUFC"
