IRON HAVE TOGETHERNESS AND SPIRIT - KEANE
Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane has praised the ethos instilled by his Iron counterpart Nigel Adkins at Glanford Park as the Tractor Boys prepare to host United on Saturday.
It will be the second time the two teams have met in under three weeks following a 1-1 draw in North Lincolnshire.
Keane, who saw his side produce a final display to beat Cardiff 2-0 in midweek, insists Scunthorpe, who are desperate to survive in the Championship, will provide a sterner test than Dave Jones' Bluebirds.
He told itfc.co.uk: "Cardiff are a good side. They have goals in them but we played well against them on Tuesday and we need a similar display against Scunthorpe.
"In many ways I expect Saturday to be the more difficult game. Scunthorpe are scrapping for their lives and have shown this season that they have a good togetherness and spirit in their squad.
"They caused us problems at their place a few weeks back and I was happy to come away with a point in the end.
"Nigel Adkins has done a great job there and it will a very difficult game for us but we are at home and we've got to look to follow on from Tuesday's performance and result."
